OPERATION

As configured, the unit will operate without power. Once the user ignites the pilot with the piezo ignition system, the main burner will engage a few moments later and continue heating until the user turns the unit off manually. 

The heater will heat the room by convection, meaning it will draw up cold air from the underneath the unit, with the warm air rising above and 'pushing' the air on the ceiling down the opposing side, eventually heating the entire space. 

The user can install a millivolt thermostat (sold separately) which will control the main burner. When the room reaches the preset temperature selected, it will turn off the main burner with the pilot remaining active. When the room cools down, the thermostat will reengage the main burner.

An optional blower is also available and easy to install and comes with a standard 115vAC plug. When in use, a blower will take the air warmed by the heater and help circulate it around the room more efficiently, increasing the effectiveness and range of the heater.
