New! Harvest 2022 palette - inspired by the corn we grew in our garden, that will soon be made into posole and tortillas.

Naturally-dyed by hand in our Oakland studio, using leaves, flowers, and roots, this sashiko thread is made with love. We dye on thread spun in Japan by Daruma. Each hank is approximately 43 yards. It has a beautiful sheen and is incredibly durable. Use it to mend your favorite jeans, or to create embroidered patterns.

Palettes consist of 6 hanks. The Mother's Day Palette is inspired by spring flowers and greenery. The July Palette is inspired by dark glossy leaves, warm adobe bricks, deep shadows, and hot summer skies. And the Friendship palette relishes in happy shades of pink, orange, yellow, green, and blue - evocative of the warm, fuzzy feelings of hanging out with your best friend.
